About David Askaripour

I've been thinking about life, existence, and truth for as long as I could remember. When I was about 7 I remember getting a headache trying to figure out who created God...and if someone created him, then who create him? I love investigating and testing, taking nothing for truth that outside my direct experience. At the age of 12, I started my own candy selling business; it grew so large that the principal ended up closing me down (but that was just the beginning...) Through my videos and articles, I share my journey with the world.

    David,

Long time follower not a first time caller. Great post. Of course I’m biased since I am the director of a language school that specializes in teaching conversational fluency in foreign languages. You are right on all of your points. Especially the academic system being terrible at teaching language fluency.

Not only does learning a new language opens up a whole new world for you, but studies have shown that the more languages one learns the more your intelligence will increase and remain as you age. So it’s a win win situation… not to mention, quite an impressive feat ;)
