Hey David, you should know that What the Bleep Do We Know is a pseudoscience film produced by a cult in Oregon, I believe, named Ramtha. That woman, JZ Knight, believes she is the reincarnation of a 40,0000 sear of Atlantis. While I agree that we all have potential, that movie should not be a reason for it.
LOL, by a “cult”? I’m not sure about that. Regardless, this movie has interviews with world reclaimed physicists, doctors, and people who are very in tune with the universe. I found it extremely enlightening on many levels. Yeah, JZ Knight, does claim that she was taught from someone in the Ancient world, but whatever… That doesn’t, to me, make her words less effective and inspirational. BTW, where did you read about it being a cult? And, I can’t agree that Quantum Physics / Quantum Mechanics is a pseudoscience.
Let me get you some links.

As you’ll see, most of the science is crap and the science that isn’t has been taken out of context and warped.
Quantum Physics / Quantum Mechanics are fine, but the doctor who did those water experiments, that’s garbage. And then again, most of the honest science in the movie was mutilated to push a point.
I’m all for inspiration, I guess I just try to be more discriminate with what I allow to inspire me. When I first saw this movie it seemed too good to be true, so I did some quick searching and came up with those articles and some more and decided this wasn’t really worth taking in seeing as it’s so biased.
Avi, thanks for the links. I read the article and have learned more about Knight and her school. Though this information on Knight may seem suspect and shine light on her attempt to draw viewers into her school, I still think that this film, generally speaking, is worth watching. The bottom line here, no matter who this Knight character is or not, is that the messages presented in this film have the potential to inspire, motivate, and encourage people throughout their lives. Knight’s own personal agenda has no bearing on the views and insights shared from the brilliant physicists and doctor’s knowledge presented in the film — and that’s what I really took from the movie (their views). Each person can take different things from the film. Take only what inspires you and leave the rest.
The Secret Part 2?
Looks equally hard to swallow, to me at least.
Oh wow, there’s a part 2? Cool. I think I hear about that but wasn’t sure. I’ll have to watch it
