About David Askaripour

I've been thinking about life, existence, and truth for as long as I could remember. When I was about 7 I remember getting a headache trying to figure out who created God...and if someone created him, then who create him? I love investigating and testing, taking nothing for truth that outside my direct experience. At the age of 12, I started my own candy selling business; it grew so large that the principal ended up closing me down (but that was just the beginning...) Through my videos and articles, I share my journey with the world.

Passion, yes. Communication, well, sort of.

    I didn’t hear a selling point, unfortunately

  2. David Askaripour April 4, 2007 at 4:50 pm #

Yeah, yeah, communication is important… but, it all boils down to one thing: hunger (how bad they want it).

Hunger doesn’t always mean someone will be successful. If they don’t have the skills to feed their hunger they’ll just starve.

If you’re hungry enough, you’ll acquire the skills along the way — you’ll do ANYTHING you have to do to make it happen.

I think hunger is important but too many people who were hungry have failed to not recognize that hunger alone is not enough.

    Guys

I agree with David – you will acquire anything you require. I will go one step ahead to this.

I am a spiritual entrepreneur. Spiritual has very different meanings to everyone, so lets not go in any judgements. It has nothing to do with sacrifice, worship god,… Infact exactly opposite. Its just realising the truth of we all beings, miracles of our universe, the potential we humans have.

When we realise this and follow our passions for a purpose, ‘doing’ becomes a ‘happening’. You will be amazed with the number of coincidences in your life. A grass grows by itself – it gets all what it needs. No one except humans ‘struggle’ to feed themselves, even when we have the maximum potential !!

Awesome… everyday I try to find at least one piece of inspiration…and this was it for today. These kids…or visionaries as I like to call them, and share the dreams we all do and have the ambition and drive to have these thoughts materialize right in front of their eyes. Truly respectable individuals.

    David and Girish,

I agree with you guys…in the movie, The Secret they use this analogy which I have adopted as my own mantra:

How can a car get from point A to point B in the pitch black stillness of night? Headlights, show them the way 200ft at a time and they could drive cross country in darkness with headlights even though 201ft away they have no idea where they are. The driver just has a goal or destination in mind, doesn’t know exactly how he will get there, but drives on anyway.

Direction, a destination, and drive is all we need to get what we want…or where we want.

  9. Girish April 6, 2007 at 8:28 am #

Thats right Darius. I will make your task even easier. Its only drive (passion) and destination (vision) which is required. Direction/path will be created automatically.

Remember few more things – always be in the moment, do your best without bothering of results, how things will come to you, when,… Contrary to the current beliefs, dont compete. There are enough resources for everyone in universe. Do your best, shine yourself and things will come to you effortlessly, the way they have to come at the right time.

    love

Well said Girish — indeed, there is enough for us all. I find that to be so true. I, too, am not all about competition. Just do what you love in life and do it to the fullest extent everyday :)
