Sometimes Deals Will Find You, So Be Ready

As an entrepreneur, you must always make sure you’re ready to take on a new project or review a proposal. As your name begins to get out in your community you will become surprised at how many people will want to start conducting business with you.

Many times people want to conduct business with somebody that they can trust and someone that they know is truly a business professional.

Just today I was approached by a long-time family friend about a business idea. He knows that I’m involved in several entrepreneurial projects and he is an entrepreneur himself. He is self-employed as a barber and is trying to branch off into other areas of business.

He told me about a proposal for a detailing shop that he had been diligently working on. He gave me an overview of the project and an idea of what would be required. We didn’t get into too many details, the whole conversation only lasted about 3-4 minutes.

He just wanted to see if it was a project I would be willing to take on and I told him that it sounded like something that I indeed would have an interest in learning more about.

So now he is going to get back with me with more details about the project and I also introduced a possible real estate idea that I’ve been juggling around that I would like to put together this upcoming summer which is going to be an investment project, with a pool of investors and divided interest in the real estate property.

Always be on the look out for deals and also be prepared for others to come to you with their ideas and proposals. Life is filled with unfound jewels and you would be surprised how many opportunities are all around you at any given moment. Always be ready and get the deal done!
