Actually the email just helps and the receipts are the quickest link between the stuff you own and your finances... All I can/want to say is: Shoeboxed is a platform which organizes your online life, and we started out as a receipt organizer. There already is a proof of concept to that business model (do some research and you will see what I mean). Shoeboxed takes that and will transform it into something a lot bigger...
