part 1 | part 2

Orian is co-founder and CEO of Eluciv Knowledge: an upcoming RSS / feed filtering service that’s going to revolutionize the entire process of how people receive, store, and review the content from all the blogs you read. We’ll definitely be talking more about their disruptive service in the upcoming months. Oh, and Orian also knows how to throw an awesome party! hehe…

  • Set clear expectations for your team members
  • Be prepared to explain “why” you want to go in a certain direction
  • Don’t be scared to talk to your team about ANYTHING
  • Be open and honest with your team
  • Never let a team member hold you back from pushing forward
  • If it comes down to it, give your team member an ultimatum

About David Askaripour

I've been thinking about life, existence, and truth for as long as I could remember. When I was about 7 I remember getting a headache trying to figure out who created God...and if someone created him, then who create him? I love investigating and testing, taking nothing for truth that outside my direct experience. At the age of 12, I started my own candy selling business; it grew so large that the principal ended up closing me down (but that was just the beginning...) Through my videos and articles, I share my journey with the world.

i’m not sure if the word “revolutionize” was david’s word…or orian’s

either way, don’t use it – that’s like immediatley over selling, which is a bad thing.
the users can be the judge of that, if it’s ‘revolutionizing’

not to mention, that’s a red flag word – that venture capitalists don’t want to hear…to them, it’s cliche

“Revolutionize” was David’s choice, I think we’ve impressed him (so, in that sense someone else *is* judging us) but I agree that that is a bit strong of a word to use right now :-)

Just to follow up on something in the video… we do have a name now, we are Eluciv Knowledge.
