We ALL have something going on in our minds. I think of my own craziness and CREATIVITY. Sure, some of us are truly dealing with some sort of mental sickness — and for that, talking to someone like a psychologist may be very helpful. Even taking pills may be beneficial. Absolutely. BUT… and that’s a big BUT… I feel that there’s also a danger in relying too heavily on the “doctor’s” and less on your own innate abilities to allowing whatever you are dealing with to RISE to the SURFACE.
Learn to create SPACE around yourself. So that you may teach YOURSELF how to deal with whatever is going on in your mind. Instead of drowning it out with pills and “authority” figures telling you what to do. This, many times, goes COUNTER to healing. When you suppress something, it can never truly be seen and worked out.
I say, learn how to spend time alone. Create a space for yourself where you can finally, for the first time in your life, deal with your issues — your, quote n’ quote problems… Start TRUSTING in yourself and see how easily things can work themselves out.
