Death by Lack of Information

What do you go online to find? Information. Encyclopedias are extinct, at least in the eighteen edition hard bound version. By adding an information section to your website you will draw more hits to your site and establish yourself as a market leader.

What do I mean by information, you say? Well, I’m not talking about information about your business although necessary, people rarely troll through the internet to read the ‘about us’ page of a business they don’t know.

The way to draw people to your site is to have some helpful hints or information of interest to your consumers.

For example, you have a website that sells flowers online. Put up a brief article about what different colored flowers mean. It’s interesting, unobtrusive, informative and may help sell the 10 000 lilac colored tulips you just got in stock.

Alternatively, another way is a ‘top 5 things to look for when hiring’ the sort of service you provide. This shows your consumers that you know your stuff and leaves a lasting impression as they feel like they have got something for nothing.

It doesn’t take much but informative website content can take you to the top of the cyber charts.
