Mind Petals NYC Chapter | Gathering 4
October 30, 2007
Ideas are constantly changing and in motion
In order for your ideas to evolve, you must free your mind
Don’t think outside the box, stay inside the box and shake it up
Ask new question, do new things, talk to new people
Do things out of the ordinary
Don’t be scared to say yes, when everyone is saying no

I love it Dave. That was a pretty awesome talk. I’m with you on the concept of constantly evolving. It’s essential not only for progress but also for fun itself. If you don’t have fun or if you don’t have excitement, then what do you have right? One thing in particular that I like what you said and that some may or may not have noticed is the concept of filling that “box” with a bunch of different things. Not just different business ideas or different projects, but different everything. food experiences, people, risks, colors, environments, whatever. I think thats important. ..to not focus evolving on just a business owner but as a being with all these different sensory receptors (and not just the main ones). Anyway, i thought that was cool. I must admit I’m not varying my experiences as much as id like, but now that you mention it ill be more aware.. ps. i really like the video concept, more would be cool. Also not to be left out: sweet hair.
Hey Vic! Thanks so much, glad that you enjoyed the words. Indeed, focusing on the box…not outside of it… is key. We need to constantly keep our minds open to EVERYTHING, at all times. Being closed-minded will not advance us at all. Keep things rolling. Ha, yeah my hair it getting crazy; I love it
