Mind Petals NYC Chapter | Gathering 4
October 30, 2007
It’s okay to fire your boss and go off on your own
Do the math before you leave your job
It’s expected to fail a few times (re: many times!), but just keep at it
Don’t fall into the hype of “safety” as an employee
Entrepreneurs “own” something — employees don’t

i like this guy - that clip.
he’s genuine.
what you see - is what you get…he’s not a complicated, smug, ivy league guy that’s hard to relate to.
he’s like your working man, renaissance man of an entrepreneur.
you do, fail many times - indeed.
your cache of cash you saved up is only so much - meaning you can only fail so many times, before being forced back into the workplace as an employee
Yeah, indeed! Darius definitely keeps it real and tells it like it is — always. Glad that you liked his talks; I did as well. Come to NYC and see him speak in person
