As an entrepreneur my whiteboard has become a must-have for my startup. Brainstorming ideas, sketching website designs out, and working out problems are all a part of using the big whiteboard that�s hanging up on my wall. I paid around $50 for mine, but you can cut that price in half by making your own:

…some white tileboard from the bathroom section of Home Depot will work just as well. 4�8 sheets are under $20, letting you cover an entire wall for less than the cost of buying something off-the-shelf. Great post David! I love the decent sized whiteboard in our apartment at school (makes for fun during parties) that is about 2 feet by 4 feet, but after seeing this, it may be time to upgrade!

This do-it-yourself whiteboard works like a charm. Not too long ago I built one for myself for just under $30.

Perhaps I need to update my sloppy post-it wall. I love post-its but, looks like the white wall is more cost effective and probably more environmentally sound. Thank you. I am re-building my office - since I recently moved. I have less than half the space I used to have, and am going to add a white board to the mix. This was very helpful.

yea this seemed good right off the bat, but i want to be able to hold on to my ideas. I get too many ideas per day to not erase and write, etc. Thanks though.
