i give up.
i gave up pretty fast, actually.

lol, i’m not one to waste alot of time on something trivial. if i don’t know myself, i’ll be resourceful and find a way to the direct answer - quickly.

call me dumb and impatient, but i call it being efficiently wise

(google it to find the answer) - it’s rather silly still, when you do find the answer. these are like the kind of tests that google does impromptu on prospective employees. needless to say, they hire people who are very heavy on the left-brained side

First thought : The number of Human Beings on Earth in 10 years ?

Then : The number of IPV4 adresses, which is finally 4,294,967,296, nearly the half…

But actually, This number is the only one that has the digits in alphabetical order
8-e
5-f
4-f
9-n
7-s
3-t
2-t
0-z

Thanks to Yahoo Answers, French Entre-blogger found the trick !
