One of Those Days

You ever have those days when you’re just not feeling it? You know those days where the lack of sleep is setting in, you don’t feel like getting out of bed in the morning, you know your day is going to be packed with task and activities and to put the icing on the cake things just have not been going the way you would like them to.

You keep chasing deals, but they’re not falling for one reason or another. Every plan that you strategize and create stumbles before it can fully be implemented or become effective.

Every single time you turn around there is another bill that needs to be paid, another expense that you need to acquire in order to help your venture and another account or contract that falls through!

This could make any man or woman go insane.

To make matters worse your investments aren’t soaring like you were hoping they would and that deal you should have gotten in on, but didn’t, is going through the roof, now you’re kicking yourself in the butt!

Its mornings like this that an entrepreneur must look internally and figure out exactly what they want out of life and how they plan to get it.

Like the old saying goes, My momma told me there would be days like this,” but what your mother forgot to tell you was how you react to those days could be the overall difference in your future.

So many individuals leave the kitchen once the heat is turned up too high and there is no longer loads of food in the “fridge.”

You can’t let current circumstances determine your drive and motivation, you have to push through all adversity.

When you’re questioning your stamina that’s when you go back to your goals that you have written for yourself, both short-term and long-term. Review the notes and analyze where you’re at according to what your goals are.

These goals will help motivate you and keep you focused on a target so that the present tribulations don’t distort your vision.

Besides this just take a deep breathe, relax, go to your local ice cream shop and get a milkshake or ice cream bar for goodness sake! Life is too short to drive yourself up a wall day in and day out.

I revert back to what my father often tells me when I start going too far while chasing my entrepreneurial dreams.

He tells me in so many words that great success, multiple booming ventures, investments on domestic and foreign soil and overwhelming wealth will mean absolutely nothing if my blood pressure is through the roof, I have a detrimental heart condition, I’m overly stressed, unhealthy and unhappy or even worse if I’m in a grave.

Makes sense to me!
