Manhattan Is An Island: Wakeup Silly!

Sometimes we don’t know what we have until we sit back and really think about it. What you’re looking for can be right under your nose all along. If you take the time to think about, the dream that you’ve had for yourself and your business can already be right in the palm of your hands.
As young entrepreneurs we all dream. We dream about where we want to be in life. We dream about the money we want to make. And we dream about how we’re going to change the world and revolutionize the particular industry we’re focusing on.
Dreaming is OK. Actually, dreaming is necessary. Without focusing on what we want – every single day of our lives – we’d lose focus and wouldn’t be as motivated to get where we want in life.
But the entrepreneur needs to understand exactly what “dreaming” is. I’ll tell you what dreaming is. Ready? It’s….. Dreaming! Yup, there are no long explanations to it. An entrepreneur who only dreams is destined to fail; destined to remain stagnant; destined to remain in a state of inactivity.
We have to go beyond dreaming. Dreaming is a road that should lead you up to a place called Living. You see, in order to become the person that you want and in order to accomplish the goals that you have set for yourself, you have to be that person now, today. You have the constantly be living the image that you see want to become.
Because when you do that, you aren’t just dreaming anymore – you’re living. A person can live on the island of Manhattan for twenty years and still dream to live on an island, not knowing or accepting that he is ALREADY on that an island. Whoever you want to become as a young entrepreneur, become that person now, not later.
Martin Luther King had a dream for racial equality. It was a dream that he not only went to bed at night and thought about, or a dream that he only discussed with his church. It was way beyond that. It was a dream that he physically lived every single day of his life.
MLK lived the life that he wanted to create and by doing so, he was able to create a movement that changed the course of history; changed the way people think forever.
You, the young entrepreneur, are no different from the great movers and shakers of history. You have the ability to manifest your dreams into a reality simply by becoming what you envision for yourself. When you do that, things really start to move!
Take some time to think about what you’ve been doing all this time. Have you been only dreaming about things? Have you been dreaming and “trying” to make things happen with your business. Or, have you been actually “living” those dreams and allowing yourself to truly become the change you want to see?
Thinking and dreaming is cool, but living is spectacular!
