5 Things A Day, Keeps the Creditors at Bay

Here are five things you can do everyday to market yourself, they don’t take a great deal of time or effort but they are guaranteed to have long lasting results.

1. Talk about your business

Whether it’s a chat with someone at the bus stop, local café or a friend, talking about what you are proposing to do or what area your business is venturing into, is the best way to spread the word, get feedback and make alliances. You’d be surprised how much people will help if you ask their opinion and how easily they become your loyal fans just from meeting you. So rather than talking at them about your product, talk with them.

2. Keep people updated

Whether you do it through an email newsletter or informal email to a friend, keeping people informed is a great way to let people know what you and your business are up to. People are a lot more interested than you think, particularly if you word it correctly.

3. Take time out

Taking time out to dream is a great way to think of new marketing strategies. Look around you, posters on the subway, interesting ways people are getting the word out there and put into place one new way to market yourself and your product.

4. Email signatures

The best way to get people to view your website is to include it in your email signature. People always like to do their own research; they may not get to it right away but by simply adding the link most will check it out.

5. Keep in contact with old business acquaintances

You met them once at a seminar for entrepreneurs now you’ve lost touch but have no fear, it’s never too late. Choose one old business acquaintance to make contact with, things may have changed in their working life just as yours has, the time may finally be right for you to work together.

Well, what are you waiting for??
