Becoming a columnist or feature writer in your particular field is, as I mentioned previously, a great way to establish yourself as an expert. In the world today, with blogs and web content continuing to explode it is easier than ever to get your own piece of the writing action.
If you already have a website, include a weekly column with advice pertaining to your field. Then syndicate it. Search other websites that compliment your business and offer your column to them on a once off or more permanent basis.
Make sure the website is of the same professional standard that you require. And start building some on line ties. Not only will you get more traffic to your site but you will create another market for your product or service and may even earn a couple of extra bucks.
