About David Askaripour

I've been thinking about life, existence, and truth for as long as I could remember. When I was about 7 I remember getting a headache trying to figure out who created God...and if someone created him, then who create him? I love investigating and testing, taking nothing for truth that outside my direct experience. At the age of 12, I started my own candy selling business; it grew so large that the principal ended up closing me down (but that was just the beginning...) Through my videos and articles, I share my journey with the world.

Learn to Observe and Overcome Stress, Worry, and Anxiety

I get a lot of questions from all sorts of people, since I have, like, a million-and-one videos online. But I have to say, most of them have something to do with “how to stop worrying” or “how to overcome my fears” or “ how to stop my anxiety.” Fear and anxiety seem to be [...]

My Biphasic Sleep Experiment Begins

Yesterday was my first day on biphasic sleep. I learned about it a few days ago from a friend who had read a book — Take a Nap! Change your life — and swore by its life-changing effects. He spoke about a boost in productivity, creativity, visions, lucid dreaming, and having more waking hours of [...]

My First Salvia Experience

Last week I was given a bag of Salvia Divinorum, colloquially known as “Sally D” by some, from a friend here in Buenos Aires, Argentina — where I’ve been living (re: partying and on occasion, learning Spanish) for the past six months. This has been my third trip here within two years. I heard about [...]

The Corruption is Piling up

It’s 2011 and corruption is commonplace. Is it just me or is everyone okay with this? Have we advanced or degraded as a civilization? I suspect the latter. Sure, technology has increased… But has it? Can our math go toe-to-toe with Ancient Greek or Egypt? Can our spiritual growth rival our ancient healers, mystics, and [...]

What do I “do”? Fuck you!!

A few weeks back while at a party here in Buenos Aires, a girl asked me “what do you do?” I fucking hate that question. What do I do? I “do” a million different things god damnit! I sketch, read, go for hikes, make youtube videos, drink tea and mate, smoke fine cuban cigars, travel [...]
