if you try to be all scholarly during your speech, the audience can tell. be a &#039;normal&#039; guy - people like normal guys. nobody wants to listen to a dude who seems like he&#039;s talking down to you

the Notes: yes, don&#039;t use notes. if the audience sees you reading off notes - you already lost them - because it shows you&#039;re being scripted. the audience wants genuinity

a great speaker is well-rounded. they&#039;re able to convey Any topic to fit their intended audience</description>
